![]() ![]() Heinan was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota and developed his love for history during his five years at Marquette University. Heinan now resides in Tucson, Arizona with his wife and two cats. ![]() He is an avid traveler and was inspired to write about Delphine Lalaurie during one of his many visits to New Orleans, Louisiana. L'Immortalitè is his first book-length work of historical fiction. His retirement years have been devoted to writing and to serving orphaned and homeless children at a Mexican orphanage that he helped to establish. After a brief stint as a journalist in Massachusetts, Heinan began a career in investment banking specializing in the airline and motion picture industries. ![]() ![]()
